Fundraising for the Cornwall Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre

BREAKING NEWS.......
MERLIN CONSTRUCTION TO BEGIN!

On Thursday 15th May 2008 at 12 noon Lady Mary Holborrow will turn the first sod at the Hewaswater site, thus beginning the construction of the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre for Cornwall.

All our tremendous and much valued supporters will be very welcome at this historic and eagerly awaited event for Merlin.

The Merlin Project is a registered UK charity fundraising to build a Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre in Cornwall, England, UK.

Lady Mary Holborow JP HM Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall is our Patron.

Currently, there are over 60 MS therapy centres in the UK. Cornwall doesn't yet have one - but it does have the highest number of people with MS in mainland Britain.

Only the Orkney Islands have more people with MS, and they already have a centre!

This site tells you about this exciting project, it's aims and intentions. It also describes ways in which you might support us or get involved with us. In hard cash terms, we need to raise at least 1.9 million pounds - So every little helps!

The Merlin Project is a Cornish charity. Cornwall is a magical county, in the far southwest of the United Kingdom, with the motto:
"Kernow bys vyken" - Cornwall for ever!
