Support The Merlin Project and work a little magic
The Merlin Project is the Fundraising division of The Cornwall Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre Ltd. UK Charity Registration No: 1093691
The Merlin Project exists to raise funds for the construction and running of the Cornwall MS Therapy Centre. The project itself is run on a voluntary basis by people who have MS themselves, or relatives and friends of those who do.
We invite you to participate in our work - perhaps by making a direct donation, by pledging equipment or publicity for the project. All help is acknowledged and every donation is very much appreciated, whatever the amount.
You can help in a number of ways:
Direct Donation:
We are members of PayPal and wherever you see the PayPal button (top right) you can make a donation directly to the Merlin Project. This is a secure method of payment, allowing the freedom to use a credit or debit card safely and in privacy.
PayPal:
PayPal can now process transactions from all major credit and debit cards, in any currency. There is no minimum donation, all contributions are acknowledged, we are most grateful for all the help we receive!
Standing Order:
A standing order form is available for those of you with a UK bank account, who would like to donate monthly/annually, directly from your bank account. If you would like a standing order form,
please email manager@merlinproject.org.uk or call 01872 224030.
Gift Aid:
A Gift Aid form is available for those of you that pay Income Tax and / or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that the charity reclaims on your donations in the appropriate year. Currently 28p for every £1.00 you give. A Gift Aid form can be found in the How you can support us - Gift Aid - did you know section, that can be printed from this website. If you would rather be sent a printed copy,

Fundraising:
Many people are helping the project by doing their own fundraising. Everything from coffee mornings to sponsored swims, walks, wheelchair pushes and auctions. We welcome the support of anyone interested in fundraising for Merlin, Contact us to discuss your ideas. We do have Sponsorship forms available if you would like us to send you some. We would also ask that these are returned on completion of your event. Thank you.
Corporate Sponsorship and Support:
The Merlin Project is a Cornish enterprise, and will greatly benefit the county. When the Therapy Centre is built, it will serve the whole of Cornwall, both as a resource for MS people but also as a business facility with meeting room available for hire. We perceive a need to encourage active participation from the business community of Cornwall and further afield, making the best of our facilities and providing a focus for future development. To make this happen, we need sponsors and interested parties from the business world. Start a dialogue with us now - let's see how we can work together.
Sponsorship for specific items, donations of Equipment:The MS Therapy Centre will be a centre of excellence in it's design, furnishing, and the services provided there. We need funding for specific items, and a range of equipment and furnishings, please contact us for more details of how to support specific aspects of the centre.
Deeds of Covenant and Bequests: The Merlin Project has been very fortunate in having sums of money given as gifts. The sadness of a loss in a family may perhaps be offset by participating in something positive and forward looking; to find out how to make a gift through bequest or deed of covenant, please contact us to find out more.
